美は国境を越えて

本展はアジアの芸術表現として深い伝統を持つ墨絵を中心とした展覧会として始まりましたが、 近隣諸国の墨の作品から交流が拡がり、文化交流が進むにつれ、ジャンル、国を越えて作品が集まり、 現在では、アジア、太平洋地域のみならず、欧州からも多くの作品が出品されています。 ジャンルは絵画、書、映像、立体造形など多岐にわたり、それぞれの作家が他の個性を敬いながら、 最大限に自らの個性を発揮する展覧会です。

This exhibition began as an exhibition focusing on ink painting, which has a deep tradition as an Asian artistic expression. As cultural exchange progressed, works of art from different genres and countries began to gather together. Today, many works are exhibited not only from Asia and the Pacific region, but also from Europe. The genres of the works are diverse, including painting, calligraphy, video, and sculpture, with each artist showing respect for the other’s individuality. This is an exhibition in which visitors can display their own individuality to the maximum extent possible.
